Annual KidsQue Grilling Lesson & Competition

Back by popular demand, we invite all up-and-coming barbecuers to join us once again for the Best Dam Barbecue’s Annual Kids Que Challenge!

This event will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 from 2pm – 4pm, with the mandatory safety class beginning promptly at 2pm (teams should be at the Gazebo Stage in Bicentennial park no later than 1:45pm).

The Annual KidsQue Challenge is for the fun and advancement of barbecuing skills for kids from 6 to 17 years of age. Because we want all of the kids to have a fun and safe experience, the KidsQue Challenge is divided into two distinct age groups (ages 6 – 12 and ages 13 – 17) and challengers with all levels of cooking experience (from beginners to old pros) are encouraged to participate on teams of up to 2 kids.

The First place winner will receive $75, Second place winner will receive $50, and Third place will receive $25.
