Barbecue, Festival Food & Marketplace Vendors

We’ve Got Guests Ready To Eat and Shop!

Of course, we’re ALL about serving up the best tasting barbecue west of the Mason-Dixon line…but what would an outdoor event on Memorial Day Weekend in beautiful Boulder City, Nevada be without ice cold beer, frozen lemonade, ribbon fries, funnel cake, cotton candy and shaved ice?!

Are you a food or non-food vendor interested in being a part of the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge on Memorial Day Weekend?

Barbecue Food Vendors

People arrive at our event hungry for great tasting barbecue, which is why we approve up to four outstanding BBQ pros to smoke enough meat to serve thousands of our guests.

We will once again have some of the same barbecue vendors who have been with us since the beginning, but we are always looking for new teams who would like to smoke like there is no tomorrow and feed the crowds as they enjoy our event.

With the exception of the Rotary Grill (which serves children’s plates with hamburgers or hot dogs), our barbecue vendors have the exclusive on all meat dishes at our event and are the only vendors authorized to serve chicken, ribs, pork and/or brisket. Barbecue vendors may not serve hamburgers, hot dogs or sausage of any kind, but may sell side dishes and water, soda, lemonade and iced tea. Menus must be approved in advance of being submitted to the Nevada Department of Health prior to the event.

The Barbecue Food vending fee is a flat fee of $950 with no percentage of sales. If you would like to compete in the competition, you can do so for an additional $200 competition entry fee. We accept only four BBQ food vendors for this event. See Event Application for additional information / early bird registration incentives.

Barbecue Vending booth sizes are 50-feet wide (and 15-feet deep).

Smoking within vendor spaces is prohibited.

We are currently accepting applications for our Memorial Day event… the PDF application can be found in the drop-down menu under ‘Vendors’. If you have any questions about vending at the Best Dam Barbeque Challenge, please feel free to contact our vendor coordinator using the information at the end of the application form!

Festival Food Vendors

Funnel Cake, Shaved Ice, Cotton Candy…nothing makes an outdoor summer event in the park like Festival Food!

While are barbecue vendors and the Rotary Grill have the exclusive on all types of meat at our event, we offer exclusive vending opportunities to a handful of festival/snack food vendors. No two vendors will be permitted to sell the same type of snack food, although all vendors may sell water, soda, lemonade and iced tea.

Our Festival Food (NOT the Barbecue Food or Marketplace vending fees) vending fee will be a flat fee of $525 with no percentage of sales and includes a 50-amp power supply. See Event Application for additional information / early bird registration incentives. Generators (during daytime hours only) may be approved on a case-by-case basis (please inquire). If approved, generators must operate at a noise level of 90 decibels or below, be surrounded by a (small garden) fence to avoid a trip hazard and be located a minimum of 20’ from the cooking source.

All booths are 10-feet wide by 15-feet deep, a distance strictly enforced by the Boulder City Fire Department.

Smoking within vendor spaces is prohibited.

Marketplace Vendors

What’s the best thing to do before eating all that delicious food? Walk around and build up an appetite, of course!

Our Marketplace Vending (NOT the Barbecue Food or Festival Food vending fees) fee will be a flat fee of $100 with no percentage of sales. See Event Application for additional information / early bird registration incentives. No electricity will be provided and all vendors must provide their own self-contained power supply, display tables, and/or pop-up tents.

Standard Marketplace booth sizes are 12-feet x 12-feet. Stakes may NOT be used, as damage to the public park’s irrigation system might occur. Marketplace vendor booths WILL be spot-inspected and vendors in violation of the no-stake policy will be asked to leave the event immediately and no refund will be given.

Smoking within vendor spaces is prohibited.
